A Decade of Togetherness ...

Today when I see around my world from where I am, I am totally amazed thinking how it has changed me in duration of time., a world so different , so unique that it appears so small.. Yet so big … relations so far... yet so close. Each Moment spent is so special and when someone makes that special moment unforgettable, then that someone becomes special in your life. Every day as a routine, we wake up, get ready, go to work/college, come back home tired, attend calls, listen to songs, and crib about the government and corruption and go to sleep. We all have been doing this in life, but in between such a routine schedule, we bond ourselves with few people unknowingly so well that they change our lives completely. “FRIENDS” as we call them, put that beautiful smile on our faces, change our attitude, and teach you many things at every point in life... let it be a subject in college, Work at workplace, or help you make decisions.

There are these unforgettable moments with my Friends which I want to get back in life or recreate at least few of them if possible “Kyunki har ek friend chahe jaisa bhi ho , zaroori hota hai..”

The Moment as a kid in school enjoyed each moment with my dearest and only friend then Andrew (His Full name was Ruban Anbu Vahzhian Andrew) and the moment when I hugged my sister and cried when he passed away just to realize that she was the one whom God had already sent me as my best friend even before I was born. The moment when I came out of the cocoon , stepped out of my school and my house to see how the outside world looks and feels like. The days changed and so did my attitude which also changed from being an introvert to a completely open minded. Meeting Sreekanth at Gautami (My school of 11th and 12th) was probably the first step to bring in that change in life. The Long conversations at the community hall made our evenings , the fun times with Shashi and the pani poori’s that we shared roaming around the gullies of Gandhinagar is always missed.

But what the Graduation college did to me (which usually it does the best) was the best gift I would ever get. I got to know more people , try to understand their views of life , learning from mine as well as others experience and in the process got "Friends For Life". Still fresh in my mind is the day when I danced for the first ever time in life and danced continuously for nonstop 4 hours during our freshers party. Right from funny telugu songs and dialogues by Sreekanth, pretty little fights between Nikhil , Mahesh, Shashank and Rakesh, Roy being the Mr. brainy , funny incidents of Mr. Shy(varun) , power packed punches of Dilip , critics of sunder for me (he has been my best critic so far) and the charmness of Vamshi , each day was a refresher.. and the Conversations were endless.
The moments of useless boycott's which never lasted even 15 mins or the days of practices  for singing and skits just to get the woos of fellow students on the stage or we turning as hi-tech organizers and burning our machines to organize Fest are truly cherishable .. Movies,Music, gossips, trips all in one package and a sense of togetherness..

Every relation goes through a testing phase and everything started towards the end of college life and "The dark lonely times", time has distributed them to all. Some Sadness is part of everyone's story and Some Sunshine is part of everyone's life as well. Repeating the famous dialogue from Rang De Basanti.. "Agar College gate ke iss taraf , hum life ko nachate hain.. toh dooji taraf , Life humko nachati hain".

For the past few years i have been away from such beautiful people and not talking while in the mode of trying to make something out of my life to become my own self but today at this pit stop in the life's race, when we need to celebrate a decade of our friendship together , i am forced to think , have i become the same introvert , confused , dull guy as i was before meeting this wonderful people ? Or did i ever change ?

Time and situations have separated us all , changing our lives , giving our end of the thread and we have definetly moved on holding them tightly , communicating at times , sometimes pulling the strings towards each other to meet up. And here i am Raising a toast  for all my friends i wrote about for the wonderful bond we share together and hoping for a promise to be kept for continuous celebration and togetherness for a lifetime.

3 months In the USA.

Aahhh .. 3 months in USA and a finally I got something to post in my blog … just like any first timer , I too had thoughts , fear , anxiety all combined into one .. Boarding the first flight of my life not only boosted my energy levels  but also made me realize how beautiful the earth was at night. The aerial view of my hometown Hyderabad was so amazing and just can’t be expressed in words. Overcoming the anxiety of going to US for the first time in that entire week, I truly realized what I was missing. The Small world of the best of the best friends, family, my niece and nephew and spirit of Hyderabad suddenly became so huge in that one moment.. Will be ever grateful to have them..

USA was one of the “TO VISIT ONCE IN MY LIFE” countries and to land in the place like
San Francisco .. (one of the  most happening places in US) was indeed a better start. The sequence of anxious thoughts in my mind of how I am going to live in this new place, made me fail to get a memorable first impression as soon as I landed. Thanks to my team mate (who came with me in the same flight) who at least taught me how to walk on the pavements and Cross walks in USA.  If I vaguely remember I must have used crosswalk/zebra crossing only twice or thrice unknowingly in India. (C’mon man I am a hyderabadi Indian , I have the right to skip them [only in India]).  The WOW factor came in when the ascending escalator from the underground transit station lead me to a beautiful view of the city with sky scrapers , busy roads , people buzzing around , singers , musicians and amazing artists performing on the streets and many more ..  Being a foodie , not to mention the amount of food outlets owned by people around the world , mention the cuisine and you will find it here.. yet to explore things here but definitely San Francisco is the place to be .. but you can’t hide the truth that whatever happens especially in the financial district is “run for THE money”. ….

It was just that I was going to get into the  “I am busy buddy , can we talk later” , “Today was a hectic day at work..sigh !! ” mode , just like those white collared labor’s do , The trip to New York and Niagara falls and hanging out with the gem of the couple and my dearest friends Vasanth & Arathi was truly a good start for the beautiful moments that I had to experience during my stay in the US.  The Road trip from Plymouth (Philadelphia) to Camping overnight at the Allegany state park to visiting the majestic Niagara falls to the endless Joie de Vivre at the Empire state building , Central park , Times Square and the New York city itself .. made this one just a Kick – ass trip.

I have already made short visits including the light house at the Point Reyes ,  The Mystery Spot , and the  17 Mile drive. And each place was scenic and beautiful in its own ways.  But at the same time , probably the saying goes “Grass is always greener on the other end” , I am truly missing my homeland and the heavenly place on earth realizing that there are lots of unexplored places and hidden from the eyes of a   desperate traveler .. !!!
I am still pursuing , this journey of mine in USA hoping to unleash myself time to time and explore with joy what this beautiful place has got to offer .. of course with Friends & Company .. :)

Cinema .. Records ... Stardom ...

"Lets look at some of the unique records set by our Favourite Actor Mr.XXX
Nizam collections 10+cr with 3 movies , Vizag & Guntur collections 3+cr  with 3 movies, Krishna, East and West Collections 2+cr with 3 movies . Worldwide 40cr+ 3 movies and Overseas He is the undisputed king .So except Actor ABC no other hero has achieved this feat for atleast one time. So now you know why he is called superstar."

The above statistics and statement made really made me think , how the trends in indian cinema are changing generation after generation. Cinema has always been seen not only as entertainment industry , but also as a money making industry. The only thing that surprises me is now a days a movie is not treated to be a super hit by its content but the amount of money it has made, people and fans are more worried about Shares and Gross than on the story , screenplay and ofcourse acting. Now Probably the trend in the cinema industry seems to be like "want to make a hit movie, pay lumpsome to a superstar , put an average story , add an item song , release in the all the theaters in the state/country possible with maximum number of prints , reap all the fruits in 2 weeks time".No one cares if the movie runs for 50 or 100 days.
Rightly said "record collections are based on true star value, they don't need star director to achieve a big hit"

People outside the film industry started believing that a super hit movie can be made only by a superstar alone, along with them there are few directors who get the limelight others are always the unsung heros. I understand that getting collections for a movie with a star hero with numerous number of fans is always the business strategy of the producers and film buyers. Not at all times but in numerous number of cases good movies dont get the attention they deserve and they get lost behind the mist created by the crackers bursted by fans of Star Heros. Right now just waiting for the current trend of record breaking collections by casting Superstars to move on and wait when the true entertainment value is taken as the basis to decide the fate of the movies.

tringgggggggg .. tringgggggggg.....

me : "Hello ... hi ra .. got the tickets ?? cool man .. i will be right there .. "

so guys ... got to go .. got the tickets of superstar's movie for tomorrow....

what ?? conclusion of this post ?? ...

hmm ... will read it in your comments ....

To WhomSoEver It May "Really" Concern

Hello everyone ,

Took me some time to start my second innings of blogging , after being duck out in the 1st somewhere around 2005. After being graduated in 2006 , Life really made me dance to it tunes (“Remember the famous dialogue of Aamir in RDB..”College gate ke uss taraf life humo nachati hai”) .
Several twists and turns , new place , new acquaintances , new friends , politics , work place , getting introduced to social life and many more which nurtures you from a boy to man .. and so happened all this way through.

Now a days where in every other so called social networks are born every other day , some bloom to great extent , some die after a span and some never even cope up .. I think Blogs and micro blogs are the one which gives us the freedom of following people whomever we want  and pouring in our thoughts which are sometimes in sense ..  ( not all of them ( read : blogs )though )...

So here I am to put in my thoughts with my point of view .. to write my point of view and blog my experience with Life ..  Looking forward to Continue writing ..
